Youth explore a science topic and create a piece of art that relates to it!
Creative Science is a partner program between Brad Hartle, 4-H STEM educator with UMES and Jenell Willey, freelance artist and instructor from In The Art Room. They've worked together to create fun & engaging lessons that involve art and science for youth! Their Art Exploration lessons are designed to engage youth in hands on activities in both art and science, with experiments, arts & crafts, and combined projects!
Art Exploration: Angler Fish Paper Circuit!! Join us for a fun lesson about Paper Circuits, Angler Fish and Mixed Media! Learn about Angler Fish and paper circuits while creating your own angler fish with mixed media techniques!
Class Details:
Intended for ages 8+ (younger ages may need assistance), youth do not need to be enrolled in 4-H to participateLesson is held at M4 Reactor in Salisbury MD. Space is limitedPre-registration is required! Registration closes one week prior to the class start date. Open to all youth - you do not have to belong to 4-H to join. Contact:

In addition to Art Exploration, Brad & Jenell have also created Paint by Science lessons which are intended to educate youth on specific subjects while painting these subjects along on canvas, helping to immerse the student on the topic!
