CCL Combined Metro Denver Picnic

Come out to Wash Park to meet up with old friends and meet new ones. All CCL members & potential members welcome! The three Denver Citizens’ Climate Lobby Chapters have made arrangements for an in-person, outdoor, joint chapter meeting on the evening of Monday, August 16! We have reserved the Washington Park Picnic Area #1 f and will gather there starting around 6:00pm with the official meeting beginning around 6:30 and going on as long as we wish. Picnic Area #1 is in the northwest corner of the park, between Lilly Pond and Fire Station 21, near the intersection of Virginia Ave and Franklin St. (See the image below). While there will be some discussion about CCL successes over the past two months and challenges to be addressed in the coming months, it will primarily be a chance for us to get together again in person and catch up with one another. There will be light snacks and refreshments provided. In addition, we propose potluck style dining, for those of you who feel safe doing so. Please RSVP to this invitation so that we have a rough idea what we might supply and who will be bringing a dish they would like to share. And please feel free to invite family members, friends, and potential new members.
