Join the Family Resource Center on September 25th for a 1 mile walk... The Walk 4 LIFE! On September 25th, the Family Resource Center is hosting their annual Walk 4 Life. This event entails a one mile walk around Oswego, in support of LIFE in the community. Each participant is asked to fundraise money toward the center and each participant that raises $100 or more will receive a t-shirt for the event! 1/4 of the proceeds will go toward a BABY SHOWER for 5 of our pregnant clients and the other 3/4 of the proceeds will go toward the operations of the center. Thank you for your interest in supporting the FRC! Our clients will benefit immensely from your contributions! The FRC Mission: The Family Resource Center of Oswego County exists to promote a culture of life, meet the needs and challenges of parenting, and educate our community in relation to sexual risk avoidance while modeling the love of Jesus Christ. The FRC Vision: To be recognized in the community as a faith-based, pro-life, non-denominational organization that equips and empowers parents through free education and material resources. To provide services that affirm the value of every life through free, non-judgmental support. To foster relationships and support from local churches, individuals and organizations that share our mission. The Family Resource Center of Oswego County is a non-profit organization that serves women throughout the county, who find themselves with an unplanned pregnancy and little family support.  The Center works with the women and their families to provide: free pregnancy tests, parenting classes, a resource center, spiritual and emotional support, and other services.
