A night of ghosts, spirits, and seance at a historical Muncie landmark, join us for the 150+ year old story of the ‘Ouija Board’ Join the spirits of the departed for one night in Muncie’s Cornerstone Center for the arts! The story of the Ouija Board is told through a private guided tour of a never before seen private collection of Ouija Boards, talking boards, planchettes and other spirit communication devices consisting of over 120 boards on displaying ranging from the turn of the century to modern day. See ‘haunted’ boards with your own eyes, and hear the tales of the spirits that -may- still inhabit them. From family feuds, death, murder and demonic possession the Ouija has a lot to live up to; but it’s just a game, right? The Ouija board has been a part of American history since the 1800’s, and we will take you down the path of it’s innocent beginnings, rise to stardom, and eventual trip to Hollywood that made it what it is today; a pop culture icon. If you’re feeling up to trying the board for yourself, join us for a seance workshop where you will learn the tools of the trade, and finally answer the question for yourself “Are The Dead Alive?” You be the judge! Guided tours every 30 minutes from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM and seance workshop from 9:30 PM - 11:00 PM guests will leave with their own talking board set. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase on site. Family friendly event not recommend for children under 13.
