ABOUT STATE LINE EMPIRE State Line Empire is a Bay-Area hard rock band composed of Tony Malson (lead vocals), Thomas Cruce (guitar), Jay Michaelis (drums), and Scott Proctor (bass). This powerhouse of a band is known for their hit single ‘Drive Me’ featuring legendary guitarist, Slash, along with others like ‘Kill It With Fire’ and ‘Cut’. They’ve played shows all over California from The Whiskey to Slim’s, supporting artists such as Skid-Row, Black Star Riders, Powerman 5000, Hed PE, Flotsam and Jetsam, HammerFall, John 5, Red, Marty Friedman and others. As the world is starting to open back up, State Line Empire is ready to get back to the stage and release new tracks like they never have before. JJ started playing guitar and performing live at the ripe age of 10, quickly gaining support from his hometown. Savage started expanding his support system after touring and supporting bands such as such DORO, Jack Russells Great White, Michael Angelo Batio and members of Ex Kiss member Ace Frehley’s project, Frehleys Comet. JJ disbanded with his first touring band VICE in 2018, later starting a new band self titled “JJ Savage”. This group has featured Cordell Crocket of Ugly Kid Joe for multiple events in Hollywood CA at the Whisky A Go Go and continues to perform for the “Hate On This” 2019 summer tour, while recording a debut album. On January 25, 2019, JJ was presented with the Ronnie Montrose Rock The Nation Award—founded by Guardians of Guitar founder Michael Molenda and Leighsa Montrose—that honors young guitarists during the annual Ronnie Montrose Remembered concert at the M3 Theater in Anaheim, CA. Following the presentation, he performed "Paper Money" with Frank Hannon (Tesla), Andrew Freeman, Brad Lang, and Jason Heartless. THE JUST PROJECT The Just Project is an original American hard rock band from San Jose, CA. Origins in Rock, Prog., Blues, Metal and other genres to keep us and you on your toes.
