I have 4 male rats around 4-6 months old, a double critter nation cage, and accessories for sale $300. I have realized that rats are a lot more work than I'm up for. I don't have time to spend with them and they are in their cage all the time. They aren't super cuddly, but they are curious and like to interact. One of them, Ollivander, will climb into your hand and onto your shoulder. They come to check you out when you're messing around in the cage. They do need some more work, but have the potential to be pretty social. I have had zero aggression or behavioral issues with them so they would most likely be safe around small children. They poop in their letterbox, but will pee wherever so their cage does require a lot of up keep. They are pretty lazy so they don't need a ton of out of cage time, but definitely more than I'm currently giving them. The cage is new. Only used for these 4 boys. Accessories will include a bunch of hammocks I made for them, wooden perches, 2 black sputniks, a tub that fits in the bottom deep enough for bedding, ramps, wooden ladders, food bowls, water bowls that attach to the cage, water bottles (they do not use these though so MUST have a water dish in at all times, food storage container, and any food/bedding/litter I have remaining.
