I must admit that I do not know the Ethnicity of the injured members of the Whatcom County road crew. But it would seem that for the Lummi Police to merely issue a DUI to the driver that caused so much suffering should warrant serious consideration. Perhaps road repairs should be contracted out to MEMBERS OF THE LUMMI TRIBE. This way, the Lummi Police can decide who is more worth protecting. Perhaps some used paving equipment might be found to get the contractors started. thanks, Bill.
