Description
I have a community of barbs and their companions that I have to rehome. I have ~10 Tiger barbs, 5 Black Ruby barbs, 3 Serpae Tetras, 1 albino pleco, 1 rainbow shark and ~4 Amano shrimp in this tank. It is moderately planted so everybody gets long- the shrimp are awesome at their jobs and keeping out of the way of the barbs while the shark guards his territory in the roots. This tank is a Marineland 38G bowfront that unfortunately does not come with a lid. I use a Fluval 206 that works great, I have a lot of supplies that I can send you pictures of if you’re genuinely interested. I have managed these plants with no Co2, just root tabs and Excel- lots of Java fern, hyssop and one very flagrant Anubias. This tank has been established for about 1 1/2 yrs now, most of the barbs and the shark are about that old, everything is fully grown except for the pleco and the newer ruby barbs. These fish are very personable and will flood the front of the tank as soon as they get used to your face; my Tiger barbs love to play manicure and nibble fingers if you dangle them in the water just right… or if you vacuum too aggressively for their liking. I am very bummed to have to be parting ways with these fish and I will only do so to an experienced fish keeper.
I am asking $400 for all of the fish and accessories, I have give or take $200 worth of just fish alone here. I am always willing to negotiate with someone who has a love for fish and passion for their well-being. Text or email only please, calls will not be answered.
