CBS Dallas/Fort Worth July 31, 2021 The U.S. Department Justice Department sued Texas and Gov. Greg Abbott on Friday, July 30, over Abbott's executive order restricting transportation of undocumented migrants. Gov. Abbott's order, issued Wednesday, July 28, prohibits anyone from providing ground transportation to migrants detained by U.S. Customs and Border Protection for illegally crossing the border. The DOJ is calling on a federal judge to block the order, GA-37, immediately.
