The Santa Cruz County Parks Department and the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter invite families and their dogs to eat, drink, play and swim on Saturday, August 21st for the 6th annual Parks & Rex Pool Party at the Simpkins Family Swim Center.
The summer's biggest bash is returning to the swim center where dogs will be invited for a dip in the warm-water pool and their owners and families will enjoy local food and drink and fun activities. Don't miss this special event which raises funds for youth recreation and animal welfare programs.
From noon–4 p.m., Simpkins Family Swim Center will host a variety of activities for adults, and children, including inner tubes, Wibit (inflatable play apparatus), stand-up paddle boards, and more. Adults will have a chance to win great raffle prizes, and enjoy wine and local craft beer from Humble Sea Brewing Co. Dogs will enjoy swimming in the pool and special puppucinos.
Ticket sales will be limited; pre-register now to guarantee your spot. On sale now at the Santa Cruz County Parks website at www.scparks.com or at the Simpkins Family Swim Center. Advance tickets ($15/adult, $5/child). Day of the event tickets are ($20/adults,$10/child) Free for kids ages 3 and under, and dogs!
