Description

ASBURY PARK, NJ – The Monmouth County SPCA's Humane Law Enforcement Division recused a dog and her puppies from a house on Dewitt and Springwood Avenue in Asbury Park on Monday. Another law enforcement agency discovered the dogs while they were looking for someone. When the SPCA came to recuse the mother and her pups, they were in a urine-and feces-covered room with a temperature of over 90 degrees and had no food or water. The puppies were severely dehydrated and needed immediate medical support and now are under the watch of the SPCA along with their mother. The SPCA is currently looking for a foster home for the family and is also currently accepting donations to help take care of the family. The Monmouth County SPCA is looking for more information about the owner of these dogs, so if you have information, please call their Humane Law Enforcement Department at 732-440-1539.
