PALM DESERT, CA — One person was killed Saturday after their vehicle crashed into a pole in Palm Desert. Firefighters were called at 1:26 a.m. to the 73000 block of Highway 111 near Palm Desert Drive North where they found the crash, which ignited a fire that was quickly extinguished, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.
