Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 07/31/2021 212120184 Preliminary information:  On July 31, 2021, at around 1:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to 656 Pryor St SW on a person shot call.  Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to his foot.  He was transported to the hospital in stable condition.  Preliminary investigation suggest the male suspect, who is known by the victim, got upset after being refused entry into the establishment.  As the suspect drove away from the location, he fired gunshots at the victim striking him in the foot.  Investigators were notified and will be working to identify the suspect involved.  The investigation continues.    Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and can change as the investigation progresses and new information comes to light.  This press release was produced by the Atlanta Police Department.
