Description

In May, we rescued this sweet boy and girl from a very bad situation. The male was supposed to be a new companion for my Dad. We were told that he was a jack russell terrier. When we arrived to pick up the male puppy, we noticed how terrible the living conditions were and decided to reduce both puppies. They were covered, and a do mean covered in so many fleas. We immediately took them to a groomer who was able to do a flea dip and comb most every one off. Once we got them home, we weren't sure if we were going to try and keep the female or recommend her. They both needed some TLC from the fleas taking so much out of them. The male even needed treatment for a parasite. The pups are clearly not terriers. They are approximately 5 - 5.5 months old and clearly much bigger than our jack russell and our rat terrier. We have reluctantly decided we cannot keep them, as they are beginning to trip my father and myself. My Dad has a lot of health issues, including falls from instability, and I also am a fall risk. Cocoa and Buddy are very sweet. They get along great with the smaller terriers. Buddy likes to "talk" to you if you talk to him. They both learned to sleep in a crate at night, and will go to "bed" when told. Free to a good home. Thanks!
