I'm dismantling a mini-split AC unit in prep for a different one t/b installed soon. I just need help with one part of this -- how to disconnect the refrigerant. Looking online, it seems one needs a pressure gauge (it uses 410a refrigerant). Anyway, that's the gig... looking for someone to disconnect the refrigerant lines on the outside in an environmentally responsible way. I'll take care of the rest of the job inside & out. I'm just afraid that, if I mess with the refrigerant lines, I'll screw something up bigtime. Should take someone who knows what they're doing like 10-15 min? (according to the Internet, anyway). Will pay $50.
