Elderly Dog in need of a home ASAP

We found this lovely fella in our apartment complex a bit ago. We don’t know his name. No collar and no chip, we treated him for fleas and ticks just in case. He wasn’t malnourished, so we can only assume he was taken care of well. We’ve attempted to find the owners but to no avail. We can’t keep him because his knees aren’t to great and we live on the second floor, so it’s difficult for him to go out. He’s very sweet and calm, just sits around and sleeps. I know most are looking for young puppies but if you want a potty trained calm adult dog, he’s the guy for you. We want him to have the best quality of life possible, so a home with out stairs would be the best. As far as we’ve seen he is very good with other animals and humans. We want this good boy to have a good home so only serious inquiry’s needed. Texts would be the fastest way to contact me. Thank you ❤️
