In search of reliable part-time nanny (Lansing, MI) Start Date: Late August/Early September 2021 Location: Lansing, MI (Delta Township) Hours: 10am-3pm, Monday thru Friday, year-round; Prefer flexibility to work extended hours and we will provide the extended hours days/weeks in advance Pay: $15-$22 per hour, pre-tax; negotiable based on experience; we will facilitate payroll You must: Be a non-smoker and live in a non-smoking home Have reliable transportation to and from our home Have proof of current infant CPR and First Aid certification or be willing to obtain certification and provide proof before beginning employment Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with proof of vaccination Be able to sit on a carpeted floor in increments of 30 minutes to 1 hour, multiple times during the day; lift a 20 pound infant off the floor; regularly walk up carpeted indoor stairs; bend, sit, and stand regularly while holding/wearing a 20 pound infant Have experience with infants in developmentally appropriate play, bottle feeding, diapering, dressing, and naps Your responsibilities will be: Arriving on time to our home by 10am, Mondays thru Fridays and leaving at 3pm, unless extended hours have been agreed to Adhering to a flexible and predictable feeding and nap routine, determined by parents Engaging in developmentally appropriate play and child care with a GENTLE PARENTING approach Light care tasks, including: washing dishes, dusting, and vacuuming About us: We are searching for someone reliable, kind, and trusting to care for our 6.5 month old child in our 2-story home for the next 6 months to one year. We find joy in daily moments with our child, and want to share our space with someone who brings a similar energy: creative, entertaining, and loving. We are two parents who work from home full-time, in a pet free and smoke free space. We will be at home while you care for our child, and will be working in separate rooms.
