Available for Adoption TOGETHER & MUST STAY TOGETHER - Josie & her Yearling Filly, Eowyn. Josie is a thoroughbred quarter horse, approximately 16 to 17 years old. Eowyn is Quarter Horse X Paint and was born April 4, 2020. Both Mother & Daughter MUST REMAIN TOGETHER! Josie was broke to ride about 3 years ago, and does need a tune up before riding. She is a SWEET and gentle horse. She will lead on a halter, and once her baby is loaded will load up fine. She does NOT want to be separated from Eowyn. Eowyn has had NO training at all! She is sweet and loves attention. She is super smart as well. She will need someone experienced to get her loaded. We have had a halter on her before and she has been walked briefly on a halter, but other than that she hasn't had any "training". Both will need Coggins before they are ready to leave. Both are dewormed with Ivermectin every 4 months (January, May, & September - usually around the 1st of the month). Both will need to have hooves trimmed soon. We are asking a $2000 adoption fee for BOTH together, to ensure that the girls go to a loving home and will be staying together. The adoption contract will state that both horses MUST stay together. A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $500 to hold both for no longer than 2 weeks (unless other arrangements are made) is required. We would like to see pictures of where Josie & Eowyn will be kept, etc. YOU will need to provide for transport, as well as PICK UP, LOAD UP, etc. I cannot help with loading the horses, as I get very nervous and it causes the 2 of them to become anxious.
