Restaurant owners seeking an experienced part-time nanny for our sweet, energetic, curious 16 month old boy. Must have references. CPR certified a plus, otherwise we will get you trained. Reliable transportation is required. Job Description: Care for child - diaper changes, feedings, play, walks, safety is a MUST. Care for farm - check on and feed, water chickens and light gardening. Care for home - laundry, light cleaning, light meal prep, run errands. Hours: Thursday through Sunday, some Wednesdays 20-25 hours per week 10:30am - 3:30pm (may vary) Position starts mid-August, year round. Compensation: Start at $12 per hour with regular raises based on performance ($960-$1200/month) Major holidays off & paid (if lands on regular working day) - Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Easter, and 4th of July. A meal from the restaurant. Opportunity to grow with our expanding company - restaurant, farm, bed and breakfast. Personality: We are a young family with big dreams. We’re opening a restaurant in September and have a lot of work to do in preparations. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with us as our farm is just starting out as well. Our son is a very curious and determined child who communicates well (non-verbally). His safety on the farm is priority. We are looking for someone who will keep him safe, play with him, teach him by showing how things work, soothe him when he's upset, change his diaper, feed him lunch, keep him hydrated and more. We would love for our nanny to be proactive, always prepared for the unexpected, go above and beyond.
