Guitarist and vocalist looking to collaborate. I am returning to Missoula after some years in the Flathead Valley. When I lived in Missoula prior I was in an established band with weekly gigs at the established venues, but I have kids now so I am not looking to return to being a weekend warrior with frequent 10pm start times. Playing good music with an emphasis on harmonies and gigging here and there for fun is all I am after. I play rhythm and lead through a Tele and a 335, so a variety of styles and genres. I sang lead in my prior band, but have really enjoyed harmonizing in some of my recent projects up north. I don't currently have the bandwidth to be the mastermind behind a new project, but I show up to rehearsals already knowing the music and am very easygoing, so joining a group or someone who has a vision sounds great and I am happy to adapt. I play lots of styles, but am most interested in focusing on something that gets people wanting to dance (at least a little) and, again, opens itself to rich vocal harmonies. I have gear, stage experience, and possibly even a place to rehearse (depending on the size of the group) so let me know if any of this matches up with what people are looking for at the moment.
