Casper is a 9 week old, handfed and tamed Java sparrow. Casper steps on your finger, flies to your hand, and wants to play with people, just like a parrot, but in a smaller package. He was fed on formula as a chick to make him very trusting of humans. When I open the cage, he comes right out to my hand! Handfed java sparrows are great pet birds whether you are new to birds or already have some at home - they are hardy, live 10+ years, and love human interaction. I suspect Casper is a boy. However, he is very young and I cannot guarantee it. There is a rehoming fee of $150 for Casper and he will come with some of the pellet food he is used to to start you off.
