Overview: Electronics Technician will work with EvGateway Engineers to assemble small surface mount components on to PC boards. Job Duties: • Use rework station (solder iron, hot air) to rework board level repair • Review schematics and board diagrams • Testing and troubleshooting for embedded board design • Assist with creating technical documents • Perform feature, system, and solution testing. In addition, certify software releases for general use • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. • Follow all safety and production guidelines, such as using proper techniques and wearing provided ESD equipment • Maintain report and Database system Education and Skills Requirements: • Have 2 year of board level repair and soldering • Have 2 year of computer testing experience • Basic computer knowledge (Excel (Medium level), Word, PDF….) Skills and Personal Attributes • Good written and verbal communication skills • Able to work well in a team environment • Results oriented, high energy, self-motivated • Possess initiative • Possess attention to detail • Be willing to pack and unpack components and chargers • Work well in fast paced environment • Able to work flexible schedule Physical Demands • This position requires lifting of objects of up to 50lbs • This position requires driving up to 20% of the time
