Hiring Company Description The position that Custom Carts is looking to fill is ideal for a person in the service department of a company, or that understands and has a passion for being around service and parts. This person will have responsibility for handling the golf cart service department, golf cart parts ordering needed for service work and sales accessories, service techs, a driver, and helping with golf cart floor sales. Position Responsibilities • Supervises all aspects of the service area. • Completes beginning to end billing processes for service customers. • Orders all service parts needed, and other sales accessories needed for the stores. • Creates and implements the daily service schedules. Communicates effectively with service technicians in scheduling work. • Schedules the driver for service pick-up and drop-off, plus cart sale pick-up and drop-off as needed. • Maintains safety protocols for the service area. • Ensures that golf carts are completed by their scheduled service date. Ensure service over-communicates with customers and has high customer satisfaction scores. • Responsible for taking incoming service calls and responding appropriately through scheduling. • Responsible to support golf cart sales on the showroom floor when multiple customers come into the showroom at once. • Responsibility for the service area’s performance and achieving annual objectives. Qualifications  A two year degree is a plus but not required. Prior experience in a service department is a plus. Prior experience in Automotive service and parts is a plus.  Strong communication skills and organizational skills are required to succeed, as is common in most service roles. Must be detailed oriented.  Ability to wear multiple hats as the role requires, and change focus easily.  This person must like to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment on a daily basis.  Must enjoy working with people and be excited about developing new skills and knowledge.  Applicant must be Pinellas County based, no relocation is offered.
