Im starting a freelance window treatment company and seeking to build a relationship with a skilled sewer who has experience in sewing flat curtains, any fabric, sheers etc. It would be good if you had experience with the overall construction. This is only for ripplefold and maybe pinchpleat. There is no elaborate drapery, or fringes of any sort. Basically flat flabrics, at the most blackout fabrics added to cut out light. I have no current projects but as they begin to come in, it would be good to have someone on hand. either you have a machine, including blindstitch, or we can set it all up. WE can arrange to have all fabrics cut, and all you do is sew, or if you have the space and experience to cut and sew. Again this isn't an immediate position for employment. this is grassroots stage. I have many years experience in the business including sewing for over 20 years. So please only skilled, Because I would know if you are or not by asking you only 2 questions about sewing. Again this is for the most basic style of sewing curtains. we can pay by job or or piece work.
