SUNSPOT FAMILY NIGHT WITH PIERCE FREELON HOSTED BY KING KOFI PRINCE OF SUNSPOT THE SUNSPOT FOUNDATION PRESENTS WITH A GRANT FROM COLLCTIVLY: A night of family fun, music, storytelling, and food bringing Baltimore families together. Musical entertainment by one of our favorite dads Pierce Freelon and his band. Story Telling by Muva Dear. Pizza and funpacks will be provided for the children, cocktails and small bites for the parents, as well as a family movie night viewing the classic 80's flick "The Last Dragon" were are so excited to provide a space for families to be together and connect. About Pierce Freelon: Pierce Freelon is an accomplished musician, producer, and educator from Durham, North Carolina. He is the co-creator of Beat Making Lab, an Emmy Award–winning PBS web series and is the writer, composer and co-director of the PBS animated series The History of White People in America, an official selection of the Tribeca Film Festival. His award-winning children's music has been featured on the Today Show, NPR and MSNBC, as well as in Rolling Stone. We are so excited to host him and can't wait to see you all!!! There will be temperature checks at the door and sanitizer stations for our safety and yours.
