Description

Collaborate, commiserate, share resources, challenges, and ideas to connect with like-minded others who are driving WNY’s innovation economy Powered by BootSector In the before times, BOCC was held at 7:30 every Tuesday morning and brought startups, entrepreneurs, and founders together – nearly 100 every week – to collaborate and commiserate, to share resources, challenges and ideas, and to connect with like-minded others who are driving WNY’s innovation economy. It’s been a long year and a half and we’re ready to catch up with old friends and see what everybody’s been up to. So come check out K Haus’ awesome coworking space – and upstairs deck. There’s no agenda, no program, and No Selling – but there is great coffee, on the house. Coffee Club was founded for startups, founders, entrepreneurs and friends to meet, share ideas and challenges, to connect with like-minded others – and a place to grab a free coffee and just hang out. There is no agenda, no program, no selling. About a half-hour in, Jack Greco would mount the stairs [or The Rug], make a couple of quick announcements, and invite anyone who wanted to come up for 1 minute, introduce themselves, start with a “give” then follow with an “ask” for something they needed – to get over a hurdle, find a resource, make a connection to move their company forward – whate- ver. After a handful of intros, everyone went back to their convos or headed out to work and everything wrapped up around 8:30 – 9:00 am. About the only thing that’s changed is the venue. Rowhouse has closed and BOCC will now meet at the K Haus - a community, design and art-focused space for free-thinking, creative individuals. They're facilitating work in a progressive, network-driven environment while providing founders and startups the support and resources to help achieve their goals. Bring a friend, catch up with some old friends and see what everybody’s been up to. Jack’s picking up the tab so treat yourself to a hot brew or two. Get your #givefirst “give” – and your “ask” – rea- dy and be there for the near- deafening whistle to order and Jack’s first “GO BILLS!” of the BOCC season. Keep up to date on the WNY Startup Community Slack channel. JOIN SLACK CHANNEL Just show up – or let us know you’re coming. See you at 7:30 am, August 3rd at the K Haus!
