SUP and Stretch! Spend one hour paddling boarding around the San Diego Harbor while incorporating stretching and mindful movement. Start your morning with a nice stretch on the water! Join me for an hour long stand up paddleboard (SUP) yoga class on the San Diego Harbor! The perfect way to maintain social distance while having fun! We will meet at West Coast Paddle Sports in Liberty Station 15 minutes before class to go over paperwork and introductions. Class will begin with a brief introduction of the paddleboard and accompanying equipment. We will go over safety and basic instruction on how to use the paddleboard on the water. After we go over equipment and skills we will head out onto the water where we will paddle around the inlet for the duration of class taking in the many beautiful views San Diego has to offer. Yoga poses will be incorporated throughout the class as we continue to move around the water. We will flow with the natural elements, so class will be structured according to current weather conditions. No yoga or SUP experience necessary. This class is on the water so we advise all attendees to be comfortable with swimming as there is NO lifeguard on duty. There is a lifejacket/ personal floatation device available to wear, or else it will stay on the paddleboard at all times. All equipment is sanitized between use. Other things to note Hydrate & eat at least 30 minutes before class. Dress as if you were going for a jog, wear performance quick dry clothes or a bathing suit depending on weather. Bring water.
