Gads Hill Center's Summer Soiree is a fun party at our Pilsen location to bring the community together and raise funds for our students. After a long 18 months of isolation, Gads Hill Center will be hosting our annual Summer Soiree on Thursday, August 26th! This event raises money for our Building Leaders Scholarship Fund, which supports our graduating first-generation college students in the Building Leaders program. Sometimes, these scholarships are the only financial assistance that our students receive due to their status as DACA recipients or other factors, so we are committed to providing as much support as possible to help our students achieve their educational goals. So please join us for a fun evening of authentic Latino food, Sangria, music, raffles, and community that all directly benefit our students! Since 1898, Gads Hill Center has created opportunities for children and their families to build a better life through education, access to resources and community engagement. We serve primarily Black and Latinx communities on the South and Southwest sides of Chicago. It is our vision that all individuals, regardless of where they start, will achieve their full potential.
