PORT CHARLOTTE, FL 33980 JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Start Up Tech Crew Leader Department: HVAC Reports to: Direct Reports: HVAC Branch Manager Indirect Report: Director of HVAC Job Summary: The Start Up Tech Crew leader will be responsible to start up new systems. Supervisory Responsibilities: • None. Duties/Responsibilities: • Start up of new systems. • Pump system down to 500 microns • Wire Systems per manufacturers specifications • Install new Thermostat and program per manufacturers specifications. • Ensure unit operate Properly after start up. • Ensure drain is draining to the outside of home Properly. • Walk house to confirm all grills have been installed by previous crew. Also, notate what needs to be taken care of and pass it to the supervisor in charge of area. • Record system operations on field paperwork and turn in to office for record keeping. • Clean up every job after completion. • Preform work in a safe manner with quality in mind. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Education and Experience: • High school diploma or GED preferred. • Must have extensive HVAC Low, High Voltage and refrigeration Knowledge. • 2+ years of experience HVAC Field Physical Requirements: • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at times. • Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders.
