Your legacy includes personal effects, heirlooms, stories & accumulated wisdom. What will your legacy be? Who will care for your pet? Your legacy includes personal effects, family heirlooms, stories and accumulated wisdom. What will your legacy be? Please join certified financial planner Lisa Gabriel and estate attorney Shirley Diefenbach for our free September 14 presentation and Q&A about legacy planning. Lisa and Shirley, who are both active volunteers at SAFE Haven and cat lovers, will be asking questions to get you thinking about what your ethics and life lessons have to do with your legacy. “The first time I heard this presentation it had a big impact on me,” said Pam Miller, Founder & President of SAFE Haven. “I had not considered that my legacy is so much more than just a will.” “As pet owners we struggle with planning for the continued support of our cats and dogs if we can no longer care for them. This presentation helped me with options that were win-win,” said Susan Smith. You will also learn more about SAFE Haven’s Serenity Surviving Cat Program that will guarantee your kitty a new home if something unexpected happens to you. Be sure your wishes are fulfilled with wills, trusts, and health care directives. Lisa and Shirley will be glad to answer questions concerning these often-confusing subjects. They may not mean what we commonly think they mean! Presenters: Shirley M. Diefenbach, estate planning attorney, Walker, Lambe, PLLC. Shirley M.
