Description

Chess tournament played over the board at a chess club. 3-rounds of G: 85 minutes with 5-second delay. Beginner sections has 4-rounds of Game 45 minutes with 5-second delay. Entry fee: $30 ($45 for same day registration) Prize money based on number of entries. Participants, players, and visitors, are encouraged to wear masks at all times while playing and in the playing area. Hand sanitizers will be provided at each board and disposable gloves are available. Bring your own tournament-regulation plastic set if available. Registration starts at 9 AM with rounds at 9:30 am, 1:00 pm, and 4:00 pm (if rounds finish early, we can start the next rounds earlier.) (Beginner section will have the following round times 9:30 am, 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 2:30 pm. If all the players finish the round early, the next game may be played earlier than the time indicated.)
