For by these He has bestowed on us His precious and magnificent promises [of inexpressible value], so that by them you may escape from the immoral freedom that is in the world because of disreputable desire, and become sharers of the divine nature." SPEAKER BIOS KATHY TERRY, ATLANTA, GA Conference Host, Speaker Kathy Terry is married to Bishop Alonzo Terry, the Pastor of Solid Rock Pentecostal Church (SRPC), which is located in College Park, Georgia. They have two adult children and one teenage daughter. She directs the SRPC Women’s Ministry. and serves as the Host and Director of the Annual Oasis Women’s Conference, a national conference designed to empower women. She is a licensed minister with the U.P.C.I. She has been privileged to minister and teach within her local church. Also, she has ministered at leadership and ministry seminars, lady's events, as well as, women’s conferences throughout North America. Kathy currently serves as the Lady's Director for Section Five Ladies Ministries, Georgia District, UPCI. She is a mentor to numerous women and ministry wives', locally and across the nation. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, music, traveling and gardening. DINECIA GATES, ST. LOUIS, MO Dinecia R. Gates is what most would consider a true "third culture kid." Majority of her life has been spent traveling the world. Many of her formative years were spent living abroad with her military family. Undoubtedly, this is what sparked her love for traveling, experiencing other cultures, and communication. Dinecia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Campbell University and, a Master of Arts in Communication, with an emphasis in Health Communication and Communication Pedagogy, from East Carolina University. It was at ECU where she was able to cultivate her passion for teaching, mentorship, and foster a love for the field of higher education. Dinecia has been active in ministry for over 22 years and has served in capacities from worship leading to speaking internationally. Dinecia has a heart for ministry and believes her life purpose is to creatively, and passionately, communicate the power of God's word to those that are hurting and to serve as an encouragement to the body of Christ. Dinecia is a credentialed minister with the United Pentecostal Church International. Dinecia resides in the greater St. Louis, MO area where she serves in several capacities for the UPCI and her local assembly. She currently attends New Life St. Louis under the phenomenal leadership of Pastor Aaron & First Lady Breanna Batchelor. ALTHEA STEWART, TAMPA, FL Althea Stewart was born in Kingston, Jamaica and moved to New York City at a young age. Her family moved to Florida from New York during her childhood. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida and began a career in the insurance industry after graduation. Althea has been married to her husband Kenneth Stewart for 30 years and they have spent that entire time in ministry together. She has three daughters, one son-on-law and a beautiful granddaughter, Nora Evelyn. Her and her husband are church planters and founded a community-focused ministry, Tabernacle of Hope, in the inner city of Tampa. She is most passionate about ladies ministry and encouraging young women to walk in their God-given potential. Her and her husband have served the UPCI as the North American Missions Directors for the Florida District. Her husband currently serves as the Director of Promotions for North American missions. Althea especially loves ministering to church planter’s wives and their families and encouraging them in their labor. She has served as the Ladies Ministries Director of her Section of the Florida District. Althea also served on the National Ladies Ministries Board for five years as the representative for Building the Bridge. When Althea is not busy working in one of the various ministries she is involved with, she can most likely be found spending time with her husband, children, and grand daughter. She most enjoys traveling and reading and the beach is her happy place. LAURIE MAYOU, MANHASSET, NY Sis. Laurie Mayou currently resides in Manhasset, NY with her husband and three children. She attended Oneness Rehoboth Apostolic Church (ORAC) Mount Vernon NY, where she willingly gave of her time as Youth Secretary, Junior and Senior Bible Quizzing Coach, member of the Youth Chorale, and a Sunday School Teacher. She relocated to Atlanta, GA in 2005 and continued serving in the Ministry. During her time in Atlanta, she served in ministry at Solid Rock Pentecostal Church (SRPC) as the Children’s Ministry Coordinator and helped with prayer events; both with SRPC and World Network of Prayer (WNOP). Sis. Mayou relocated back to NY in 2020 when she married Rev. Robert Mayou of All Nations Apostolic Church (ANAT). Sis. Mayou excelled in the area of accounting and works as an Accounting Manager. Her future goals include starting an organization for children that provides mentorship and training of our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. This organization will help to instill self-identity, self-esteem, self-awareness, and give Biblical truths. It will be a place to foster love, security, and a wholesome environment for children. She strongly believes that the children of our community need a bridge connecting them, their parents and the church. Sis. Mayou desires to bridge the gap and be the liaison so that our children of today will become the church of tomorrow. Sis. Mayou is passionate about serving in the ministry and leading a life of prayer. She believes in living a life that is totally submitted to the Lord in prayer, loving people and serving her community. She does her best work on her knees before the Lord and living by this theme on a daily basis; “my desire; passionately, is to be what You’ve called me to be and that’s what I’ll be.”
