Learn to play the Pokemon Trading Card Game, or just play for fun with other Pokemon TCG trainers! Attention all promising new Pokemon trainers! Pokemon TCG in-store play has come to Video Game Trader! Join us every Saturday starting July 17th to learn how to play the Pokemon TCG, play casually with other new players, and get discounts on Pokemon TCG cards and accessories. Up to eight players can join, with an entry fee of only $20 per player. Your entry fee gets you TWO Pokemon TCG booster packs, a preconstructed deck to play with, and access to our resident Pokemon TCG expert (Professorship pending). You’ll also receive a coupon at the end of the event, good for 20% off the purchase of one TCG item. Already have a deck you’d like to play with? We'll give you a playmat instead! During the event, new players can learn the basics of how to play, and participate in casual play here at our store, and our staff will be available to guide you through play, and to help with rules questions. Note: Booster packs will be distributed at the end of the event. Boosters, decks, and playmats will be chosen from current stock by event organizers.
