Growth and development opportunities to expand with the company DIRECT HIRE - no need to start on a contract or temporary basis. Consistent working hours- 12 hours shifts, Night and Day shifts available. Shifts: 1st shift: 6am - 2pm, Monday - Friday 2nd shift: 2pm - 10pm, Monday- Friday 3rd shift: 10pm - 6am, Monday- Friday 4th shift: Days OR Nights (2, 12-hour shifts, Monday- Tuesday with 1 half-day on Friday + 1 weekend shift every other week) Responsibilities: Reading and following work orders and instructions. Operating an extruder machine to produce high-quality plastic packaging film and sheets. Maximizing production output and aiming to reduce the amount of machine and plastic waste. Assisting other operators as required by supporting machine set-ups. Performing basic machine maintenance to keep the machines running smoothly. Performing quality checks and measuring tolerances with various tools. Requirements: Prior manufacturing or machine operating experience is preferred, but not required. Physically be able to pull and push 50 lbs-70 lbs as required and be on your feet for the full length of shift. Positive, self-motivated individual, who is open to learning. A mechanical aptitude.
