Personal/Executive Assistant Are you awesome? Are you a problem solver with a can-do attitude? Are you ready to do whatever in order to get the job done? Then this job might be for you. The owner of a busy law firm is looking for a personal/executive assistant/ right-hand person to help with everyday chores and general life handling. This would be a part-time position for a few weeks to see if we vibe, then it might expand into full-time. You should be able to work some weekends (but not all, obviously). This is a non-exclusive list of what will be expected: Handling vendors and other service providers Paying bills Organizing schedules Handling email Walking the dog (she’s a love bug) Returning packages and other errands Taking clothes to the dry cleaner’s Purchasing gifts Anticipating the needs of the owner Company car maintenance Booking trips Restocking groceries Picking up/ dropping off teenagers Dog-sitting and house-sitting Dropping off donations Organizing the office Purchasing office supplies Arranging office lunches Organizing paperwork Social media handling Any other glamorous and not-so-glamorous tasks that we might need Who you are: 100% Reliable 100% of the time. Always. Consistent Dog lover Drama-free Able to drive/ have your own car Organized Energetic POSITIVE Able to respect confidentiality Tech-savvy Able to solve problems before we know we have them Always trying to make life easier for your employer Excellent at time management Authorized to work in the United States Awesome Smart, quick learner Able to pass a pretty thorough background check Able to commute to north bay every day Okay with the occasional swearing (not at you, but, you know.) Can handle a fast-paced environment with lots of last-minute changes Can travel Who you cannot be: Homophobe/ racist/ xenophobe Drug user We require a skills test from those who apply, to make sure you’re a good fit. Bonus points if you speak Spanish or another language.
