Description
So I was feeding my feral cat colony after weeks of neglect. I broke my foot and shoulder and couldn't drive. I got back a couple of weeks ago and found a tiny black kitten in the middle of the black asphalt. I walked to him to scare him out of the street but he didn't run. I picked him up and took him to a safe place and left him with his mother. The next day he was there again. This time he walked up to me and meowed, so I took him home.
He was emaciated, covered in fleas, thin fur and a horrible upper respiratory infection. I fixed the malnutrition and the fleas but I am too broke to take him to the vet for his URI. I need someone kind and companionate to foster him or adopt him who can afford to get him the antibiotics that he needs.
Before July 19 he had never had contact with a human. Incredibly he is very lovable and not afraid of people. Despite being raised in a hostile area by a wild mother with coyotes, foxes, raccoons, and other predators. Most of these kittens die from starvation, predation, or simple curable illness. He asked me for help, but I need someone to help me help him.
