This is a North End community clean-up to remove trash on Caniff between Oakland and I-75. Vanguard kicked-off our Clean and Safe Initiative as part of the E. Grand Boulevard Transformation project in May 2021 with weekly removal of trash on E. Grand Blvd., Woodward, Bennett Park, gateway entrances into the North End and community identified locations. We thank all those who volunteered and or supported these clean-ups. On Tuesday August 17, we would like to concentrate our next clean up on Caniff between Oakland and I-75. We will meet at Vanguard at 9 am for a safety overview and tool distribution. Please confirm your availability to volunteer or assist in any way. Lunch and ice-cold water will be provided!
