About Us: We’re a growing home staging company who needs a strong, motivated and reliable worker to help move furnishings in and out of homes throughout Pierce and King Counties. The Role: You’ll start at our warehouse in Tukwila pulling furniture and carefully loading the truck for delivery to the various job sites. You will drive our 20 foot Box Truck (along with a team member) to the staging location, and once there, you’ll carefully unload furniture, art and accessories into the client's home and assist with placing them to the stager's specifications. You’ll also help carefully re-load furniture etc onto our truck for return to the warehouse during de-stages There’s lots to do and never a dull moment! If you're not busy driving the truck or moving furniture you may be in the warehouse putting furniture together or helping to organize. Our typical work day is 9am-6pm, but we work until the job is done, so some days are shorter and some days are longer. Our busiest time of year is Spring/Summer and slower in the Winter/Christmas. Hours will vary based on business needs. Our Ideal Candidate: Has at least 2 years professional moving experience including ability to carefully and effectively load a truck. Professional driving experience with a 20 foot or larger box truck. MUST have a good driving record. Is a team player who is reliable, trustworthy, focused, has great attention to detail and can lift 50 lbs regularly. Has a solid work history (with references!) Can easily and accurately follow verbal and written directions, including street maps, Is an excellent communicator and problem solver. Is flexible! In this business things change moment by moment and you must be able to embrace this. No two days will be the same. Is available to work M-F, with possible weekends and holidays on occasion Has a cell phone and own transportation. Bonus Points For: Knowledge of how to put furniture together, make repairs and build things we need in the warehouse. Ability to hang art to the stager's specifications while on site in client's home.
