Traci’s BIO (Beautiful Inside & OUT) is completely and utterly Thankful and Grateful that you are considered honoring the authors of the Pink Sisters Chronicle ‘When I Got The Call“ with the gift of your presents. On this day it's our desire that Survivors from all walks of life feel relieved of all doubt and come together to celebrate life & survivorship. Pink Sisters are introduced to the world as authors of their “ own journey”. This alone will be an indescribable feeling that will put every “Woman First” that’s over coming and surviving life’s challenges. Traci’s BIO (Beautiful Inside & OUT) is a nonprofit cancer awareness organization. We have been a beacon in the Cancer Community serving African American women in the tri state area for the past seven years and although there is still a lot of work to do, we’re ready to encourage dialog, make a difference, listen to concerns and learn about what’s missing in the African American Communities which will pave the pathway for us to effectively and passionately shine the light on the importance of all women getting mammograms, completing self-exams and becoming more educated on the Awareness of Breast Cancer. Traci’s BIO has serviced and will continue to serve, and encourage cancer survivors not only to survive, but to thrive! We want to further our mission to help cancer survivors maintain a level of normalcy while going through an abnormal process. Since October of 2014, Traci's BIO has been giving women outlets as they Live Beyond Breast Cancer with services such as photo shoots, hair and makeup beautification transformations, prom assistance for younger cancer survivors, chemotherapy baskets and much more. We visit local hospital chemotherapy wards, to uplift our pink sisters. We pray for them and with them; we sit with them while they are undergoing chemo treatments. We hold their hands and give them the support they need while fighting the BIG C. Team Traci’s BIO is here to celebrate life 365 days a year, not just in October. In 2015 Traci’ Smith (Co- Founder of Traci’s BIO) set out to match the Gift of being a Is Breast Cancer survivor with her Pink Sisters by asking them to accept a challenge and become co-authors of “The Pink Sister Chronicles volume 1, and 12 Pink Sisters accepted the challenge. In 2016, she asked the same question and 11 Pink Sisters answered the call in “The Pink Sister Chronicles, volume 2: from Bald to Bold “In 2017, 9 Pink Sisters answered the call in ‘The Pink Sister Chronicles volume 3 “It takes a Village”, . In 2018 The Pink Sister Chronicles volume 4 " Perfectly Imperfect". In each book and chapter you will find a strong, resilient woman FIGHTING her battle by telling her story like only she could. The Pink Sisters are transparent, candid, empowered and ready to pay it forward by helping other pink sisters that are fighting the fight. Year to date we have sold over 5,000 books as we continue to build bridges and life long relationships in the cancer community; one pink journey at a time. Traci’s BIO can’t continue to save lives and impact families without you! We have Book 5 underway, entitled, “The Pink Sisters Chronicles, volume 5, Perfectly "When I Got The Call", which includes 10 new co-authors! Traci’s BIO has so many exciting events and fundraisers planned for this year and we are really hoping you are ready to match our efforts to create a sisterhood and stand boldly with us as we save lives; one life at a time.
