PROVIDENCE, RI — After the coronavirus pandemic forced the cancellation of the 2020 season, Providence's Waterfire is back. Starting this fall, the beloved cultural event will return to downtown, lighting up the night and showcasing some of the city's best artistic offerings. During normal years, Waterfire lighting are held throughout the summer months. This year, the first lighting will be held Labor Day weekend, and the season will run through December. Here's a look at the 2021 season.
