There is a way to remove the foam without drilling or cutting. I watched several somewhat destructive videos, before finding the one using a coat hanger thru the intake and output vents. One side takes a little more reaching over the top, but I removed mine in less than a half hour. Search for the youtube video on Philips foam removal. It can be done!!
