Press release from the City of Dunwoody: 07/30/2021 1:07 p.m. On Tuesday, August 3, 2021, the Dunwoody Police Department will host the 38th Annual National Night Out (NNO) event. This community event will be held from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Brook Run Park, located at 4770 North Peachtree Road in Dunwoody. Sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch, National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. The Dunwoody Police Department is proud to celebrate its 12th year participating in a community event that involves thousands of communities from all 50 states, United States territories, Canadian cities, and military bases worldwide. Patrol vehicles, police equipment, SWAT vehicles and other specialty vehicles will be on display. The DeKalb County Fire/Rescue Department will also have fire trucks and other pieces of equipment on display. Police Officers and Fire/Rescue personnel will be on hand to answer any questions related to vehicles, personnel or public safety operations. This event will be a great opportunity for citizens to interact with members of the public safety community and with other residents.
