TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Marion Junction man was killed Friday night in a single-vehicle crash in Perry County. Click here to subscribe to our free Tuscaloosa Daily newsletter and breaking news alerts The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency identified the fatality as Jaylan Malik Vaughn, 23, who was pronounced dead at the scene after the 2017 Dodge Challenger he was driving left the roadway, struck a tree and caught fire. The crash occurred at approximately 8:28 p.m. Friday on County Road 45, approximately one mile south of Marion. Investigators said Vaughn was not using a seat belt at the time of the wreck.
