Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 07/30/2021    Update:  On July 30, 2021, at approximately 8:42AM, Atlanta Police were dispatched to a call of a person down at an apartment at 330 Brownlee Rd. SW. EMS Units arrived at the location first and began rendering aid to an infant at the scene.  APD officers arrived, and upon arrival units reported hearing a gunshot. The officers entered the apartment and located an adult male lying on the floor. The infant was transported by EMS to the hospital but was later pronounced dead. The adult male in the apartment was pronounced dead at the scene.   Homicide investigators are working to determine what occurred and if a crime(s) had been committed. The cause of death for the infant will be determined by the Fulton County Medical Examiner. Currently no additional persons are being sought and no other injuries were reported.  The names of the decedents are not being released at this time.   Please keep in mind that this is preliminary information and may change as the investigation progresses.     Previously Released.  Preliminary information: On July 30, 2021, at approximately 8:42AM, Atlanta Police were dispatched to a call of a person down at 330 Brownlee Rd.
