I am a nylon string guitarist looking for a musical partner. I have no age or gender preferences, but I am looking for someone who plays either guitar and/or keyboards. We can discuss specifics about the act at a later time, but here are the three basic guardrails I am using to guide the project: 1) No particular genre. Of course a certain style of our own will emerge given enough time, but I'm not going into this thinking we are going to play pop or jazz or disco or whatever. 2) Diverse covers played differently. Building on the "no genre" principle, the idea will be to pull our cover songs from many different genres and to play them in a way that will surprise and delight the audience 3) Magical sounds. This is a challenge for me as I have always played with a straightforward nylon sound, but new and different pedals and tones and effects coming from both of us, along with uncommon tempos, keys, and time signatures, will make us stand out tonally. Again, these are the basics, and this will take time. But let's start with some conversations through e-mail and see if we can't get started. I'm not a virtuoso, not greatly experienced, and I'm not asking that from you. But if you are those things I hope you can be patient with me and my level of expertise, such as it is. In any case, I'm looking forward to creating something new and interesting.
