Looking for an extracurricular activity? Want to see Kansas from another perspective, come join us out at the Behymer Farm and take your first riding lesson. Maybe you, your spouse, or your child are interested in knowing more about horses and I would love to give you the hands on experience you are looking for. I have been an equestrian for over 15yrs, I was an exercise rider for Rodrigio Pesso's horses(Equestrian Gold Medalist in the Olympics) and I truly have a passion and love for the sport. I am just getting settled in to my new home so I currently only offer lessons in Western. If you spend an afternoon or evening out here on the farm, I can offer you basic horsemanship riding lessons $40/hr Package deal on full and half days (Call for pricing) Also offer child lessons on Miniature horses A typical lesson will be coming out, learning to saddle and about 30-45 min of riding, as the rider progresses on horse handling on the ground the lessons will become longer on horse back, but I believe that riders need to be well versed on necessary tack fitting and the handling of the animal.
