FYI Fellow Veterans: The Multnomah County DA refuses to prosecute crimes of Harassment and Elder Abuse against an Honorably Discharged disabled veteran by the harpies at the Portland VA Medical Center. They repeatedly made harassing calls to a veteran and threatened to send police to his home for a welfare check if he didn't answer their questions. He demanded that they stop, but they continued calling even after he hung up on them--so that he had to turn off his phone to stop the harassment. But even after refusing to cooperate, no cops showed up, so that the threats were clearly only threats to force him to give up his rights since there was no justification for an actual welfare check.
