Upgrade your porta-studio mix! Hello, my name is Glen I am looking to help out local artists. I operate the Eccentric Musician Company. I am not looking to advertise as a commercial studio as my schedule does not allow to operate in that capacity but I am a retired live sound engineer of 27 years along with commercial studio and production experience. Typically I only operate my mix studio for in-house clients under my label or for personal projects. That said, I'd like to keep my schedule open enough to accept a few outside projects per month. My favorite genre's to mix are rock, blues, acoustic and singer/songwriter type material. Whether you have an unfinished recording project or you have tracks or stems to mix, I would like to hear about it and discuss your end goals for it. Aside from my mix and production experience, I am a trained singer and have been a vocal coach for 10 years, I also play bass as well as play and teach guitar. I have a wide range of equipment and capable of finishing your project here in my my mix studio. My mix studio is a modest professional system in a comfortable acoustic environment. I use the latest Studio One Daw software, plenty of plug-ins and capable of emulating at least 3 top analog mixing desks but personally I prefer a hybrid mix between them based on what the music requires. Being a Tascam porta-studio owner myself, I understand it's limitations and one of them is not being able to automate a mix. It is for this very reason I decided to upgrade to a system that not only allows that but one that also matches my level of experience. I still use my Tascam in a separate songwriting space and it is a great platform to start with and build from. So if you are serious about your original music I would love to hear from you and discuss your project and make an offer to you at a price point that you can afford without compromising on quality. You can either hire me as a service or if offered to you, accept an A and R or production/promotion deal but I'd rarely offer that the first time around.
