- $ 500.00 Signing Bonus- JOB SUMMARY: Assist in assembly, warehousing and preparation of our products for shipping to our customers. Assembling, gathering and packaging door and operator hardware, controls and accessories. Full time and part time positions available. QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer a high school diploma and experience in a production setting where fabricating, assembly and packaging of products is a daily activity. Applicants should be familiar with and able to work with tools commonly used in a warehouse or production type settings, have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with co-workers, managers and others. Should be able to lift 50 lbs. frequently and up to 75 lbs. occasionally. A strong mechanical aptitude and a good working knowledge of math and geometry is a plus. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Gathers and packages numerous products for shipment to customers. Assembles various hardware components and accessories to complete final assemblies. May use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices in the assembly of various types overhead door hardware, components, sections and related items. Works with quality control efforts to eliminate mistakes and improve safety and throughput. Works as part of continuous improvement efforts.
