Male mice information:
Generally males do not live well together with exceptions being sometimes if neutered or if from the same litter. This requires the right personality dynamics of each male and enough space to not fight. Even this doesn’t guarantee companionship. If you take on two, please understand they may need separated in the future if they begin to fight. This is common amongst non-neutered male mice as they become alpha and territorial. This would mean you would likely end up with two cages in your home. Male mice can live quite happily alone their lives but require sufficient enter in toys and/or human interaction to fill the absence otherwise they become withdrawn and shy/skidding. Neutering a male mouse is costly as they are so small and it’s difficult work, with average neuter cost at $375.
